Doing successful digitalization since 2010. Rethinking processes and customer interactions. Using technology to build great products. Reinventing business, interactions, and organizations. Embrace change and deal with ambiguity. 

Leadership

Build, communicate and implement a convincing vision. Set the direction. Be the change you want to see. Be open, authentic, and honest. Take decisions and assume responsibility. Show, don't tell.

Building Great Teams

Great people hire great people. The opposite is also true. I hire people that make me and the organization smarter. I support and encourage employees to focus on their strengths and to reflect on their weaknesses. Collaborate and influence even without hierarchical power.

INNOVATION STRATEGY

Initiated and chaired development of innovation strategies for several digital healthcare business areas. Shaping ambitions and goals, innovation funnel, ideation activities, portfolio management and open innovation partnerships.

INNOVATION MANAGEMENT

Building and driving a portfolio of digital products in healthcare and medtech – digital twins, clinical decision support systems, B2B App marketplace, clinical workflow tools, and more

SCALED AGILE

Acting as Epic and Product Owner in a scaled-agile (SAFe) setup for design and delivery of a hybrid healthcare data activation platform.

CLOUD

Designed and mandated a vendor-agnostic cloud strategy for the Digital Diagnostics program, aimed to strengthen customer experience, systemize enablers and strengthening trust.

RESTRUCTURING

Restructured, reenergised and reinvented the Swisscom Human Centred Design unit by focussing on Digital Customer Experience to secure revenues and achieve cost savings

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE DESIGN

Guided and ensured application of service design principles for projects like 5G and Smart City business, B2B online experience, 2G phaseout, B2C omni-channel strategy, and customer-specific cloud and IT services

CUSTOMER RESEARCH

Extended the Swisscom Net Promotor Score (NPS) system with end-to-end customer journey views, supported by advanced data science and AI models to predict customer behaviour

OUTSOURCING

Managed outsourcing of 22 employees and built an innovation partnership with Creaholic S.A.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Launched the Swisscom Interact product line – tried, failed, learned, tried again and eventually co-founded Thingdust AG

B2B ONLINE SERVICES

Started Swisscom’s Mobility-for-Work service and redesigned legacy B2B processes with an online and mobile customer experience; now in active use by +200k users with increased monthly revenue (ARPU)

GOING AGILE

Established Swisscom’s agile transition with a strategic analysis and proposal on behalf of Board of Directors in 2013; Swisscom today has more than 200 agile teams (and growing)
